Chase Elliott won a thrilling finish to the Cup Series race in Kansas Sunday. Elliott passed Bubba Wallace and Denny Hamlin on the final lap of an overtime restart for the victory. He locked himself into the third round of the Nascar post-season. Elliott drove from eighth place to the checkered flag in the final two laps of the race.
The final race to determine the field of eight who will continue to race for an overall championship will be determined after this Sunday’s race in Charlotte.
