A debate scheduled in Butler Township for later this week between a newly elected official and the challenger seeking their first elected office has been canceled.
Democratic Representative Brandon Dukes was going to debate challenger Republican Scott Timko Thursday at the Succop Theater on BC3’s main campus. But the debate has now been canceled.
Dukes defeated Timko in a special election in August to finish out former representative Stephenie Scialabba term. November’s general will be for a full term in office.
