MLB Playoffs:
–The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 4-3 to take a 2-0 lead in their National League Divisional Series. Dodgers starting pitcher Blake Snell pitched six innings of one-hit ball, striking out nine. The Dodgers bullpen allowed three runs, including two in the ninth inning, but managed to close the game. The best-of-five series now moves to Los Angeles Wednesday night.
–The Milwaukee Brewers are a win away from the National League Championship Series as well following a 7-3 win over the Chicago Cubs last night. The Brewers hit three home runs in the victory. Game 3 is Wednesday evening at Chicago’s Wrigley Field.
The American League Divisional Series resume today. The Detroit Tigers host the Seattle Mariners this afternoon at 4:08pm. That series is tied at 1-1. The New York Yankees host the Toronto Blue Jays at 8:08pm tonight. Toronto leads the series 2-0.
