Defensive lineman DeMarvin Leal is back to the active roster. The Steelers promoted Leal Wednesday from the team’s practice squad because of injuries. He was a third-round pick in 2022, but was cut after training camp.
First-round pick Derrick Harmon could be getting closer to a return. The defensive lineman suffered a knee sprain in the preseason.
New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a concussion. Tyrod Taylor will start in Fields’ place.
