Boys Golf:
–Five of six Butler golfers qualified for the WPIAL championships next week. At the Section 3 – Class 3A sectional qualifier Monday at Saxon Golf Course. Boden Lenyk and Levi McClellan led the Golden Tornado with 79’s. Jase Renwick, Anthony Trombatt and Karsten Lenyk each shot 81. The WPIAL championship will be played at Willowbrook Country Club next Monday.
–Ethan Crooks of Freeport led the Class 2A Section1 qualifier at 3 Lakes Golf Course with a 72. The Yellow Jackets qualified five players for the WPIAL championship.
AC Valley/Union finished runner-up to Keystone in the 10th KSAC Mega-Match of the season Monday at Clarion Oaks Golf Course. Keystone golfers swept the top three spots. Joe Rapp of AC Valley/Union was fifth with a 39. Joey O’Donnell of Karns City, Hudson Bliss of AC Valley/Union and Tyson Boloch of Moniteau finished in the top-10 out of 65 golfers.
Girls Golf:
–Butler defeated Blackhawk 172-174. Riley Gage led the Golden Tornado with a 40. Macie McLister shot a 42. Katie Dick had a 44. McKenzie McCorry shot 46. The Golden Tornado complete their season with a Senior Night match at Hiland Thursday against Shaler.
–North Catholic-189 Seton LaSalle-197.
