Kevin Harvick wins his second consecutive Nascar Cup Series race when he took the checkered flag at Richmond International Raceway Sunday. Harvick broke a 65-race winless streak last week in Michigan, and this week earned his 60th career victory. That ties him with Kyle Busch for ninth all-time. The drivers head to the road course at Watkins Glen this weekend. The final regular-season race is the following week in Daytona.
Drivers who have now locked themselves into the playoffs include point-leader Chase Elliott, Ross Chastain, Joey Logano, William Byron, Denny Hamlin, Tyler Reddick, Harvick, Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell and Kyle Busch. Alex Bowman, Daniel Suarez, Austin Cindric, Chase Briscoe and Kurt Busch have all qualified with wins. Ryan Blaney is the only non-winner currently with enough points to get into the post-season. He leads Martin Truex, Jr. by 26 points entering this weekend’s race.
