The United States and Canada men’s hockey teams will be in action today at the Olympics. Team Canada will meet Czechia for a second time in the tournament this morning. Canada opened the Olympics with a 5-0 win over Czechia last week. Face-off is 10:40am and will be televised on the USA Network. The United States will meet Sweden this afternoon at 3:10pm. Television coverage will be on NBC.
Pittsburgh Penguins players Erik Karlsson and Rickard Rakell play for Team Sweden, who ousted Latvia 5-1 Tuesday. Penguins goaltender Arturs Silovs was part of Team Latvia, but did not play yesterday. Karlsson had an assist yesterday in Sweden’s victory.
The U.S. women’s hockey team faces Canada for the gold medal Thursday at 1:10pm.
