The Pittsburgh Penguins have called up goaltender Sergei Murashov as Stuart Skinner recovers from being hit in the face with a puck during last Saturday’s game with Florida. Skinner was unable to start Sunday’s game. The Pens visit the New Jersey Devils Thursday.
The Penguins announced their team awards Tuesday. Defenseman Erik Karlsson was named the team’s MVP. Karlsson is the Penguins second-leading scorer this season with 14 goals and 50 assists.
