The Pittsburgh Penguins complete a five-game road trip tonight where it started, when they visit the Carolina Hurricanes. Face-off is 7pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 6:30pm.
The New York Islanders defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-1 last night and have tied the Penguins for second place in the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference.
The Columbus Blue Jackets are back within two points of both teams after they defeated Carolina last night 5-1. The Blue Jackets victory also moved them to within one point of an Eastern Conference Wild Card spot.
The Penguins return home after tonight’s game and begin a three-game home stand this weekend. The Penguins will host Winnipeg Saturday afternoon at 1pm, then host Carolina Sunday afternoon at 3pm. Colorado arrives in Pittsburgh Tuesday.
