The Pittsburgh Pirates lost 4-1 to the Atlanta Braves Sunday in their final game of the season. Former Pirate pitcher Charlie Morton was signed by the Braves last week and made the final start of his career. He made his MLB debut with the Braves in 2008.
The Pirates ended their season 20 games under .500 for the season. It is the 11th last-place season since PNC Park opened in 2001.
