On the second day of the Major League Baseball draft, the Pittsburgh Pirates selected another two-way player out of Notre Dame in pitcher/third baseman Jack Brannigan. Last year, the Pirates selected two-way player Bubba Chandler, who made his Single-A debut in Bradenton last week. Brannigan was taken in the third round. The Bucs also added four more pitchers and two outfielders on the draft’s second day.
