There will not be a Robert Morris Cinderella story in men’s basketball this year. The #2-seeded Colonials lost to #3-seed Detroit Mercy 70-64 last night in the Horizon League Tournament semifinals. Robert Morris were the reigning league champions, who made the NCAA tournament last season.
The Pitt men’s basketball team will meet Stanford this afternoon in the opening round of the ACC Tournament. Tip-off in North Carolina is 2pm. The game will be televised on the ACC Network.
