The Slippery Rock University football team moved up one spot to #24 this week in the latest Division II official rankings. Rock defensive back Kanye Thompson was named the PSAC-West Defensive Player of the Week following The Rock’s 30-27 win over IUP before more than 10,000 fans in attendance for their Homecoming Game Saturday at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.
Slippery Rock is off this week. They host Clarion November 1st.
