The Pittsburgh Steelers were idle Sunday, but picked up ground on all three teams in the AFC North.
–To begin the day, the Minnesota Vikings defeated the Cleveland Browns 21-17.
–In a 1pm game – Houston blasted Baltimore 44-10.
–Cincinnati fell to Detroit 37-24 in a late afternoon game.
–The 3-1 Steelers resume play this Sunday afternoon when they host Cleveland. The Browns and Baltimore are 1-4. The Bengals are 2-3.
There are no longer any undefeated teams in the NFL season following Week 5.
–The New England Patriots defeated the Buffalo Bills with a late field goal 23-20. The Bills fell to 4-1. The Patriots are now 3-2.
–The Denver Broncos handed the Philadelphia Eagles their first loss 21-17.
Monday Night Football
–The Jacksonville Jaguars will host the Kansas City Chiefs. Kick-off is 8:15pm.
The Arizona Cardinals became the first franchise since the 1970 NFL-AFL merger to lose three straight games on game-winning field goals. Arizona blew a 21-3 lead
The Tennessee comeback was aided by Cardinals running back Emari Demercado dropping the football prior to the goal-line on what would have been a 72-yard touchdown run. Instead, a review ruled the play a touchback. The Titans began their comeback with a touchdown drive. Tennessee is now 1-4. The Cardinals are 2-3.
