A woman is facing charges for allegedly forging signatures on nomination paperwork for a candidate that was running for Pine Richland school board.
36-year-old Kayla Van Blargan of Wexford is facing allegations that she forged at least four signatures on a nomination petition for candidate Kathleen Rivotti.
Investigators say Van Blargan compiled nomination paperwork, including the 10 necessary signatures required to get on the ballot. She then signed a legal document about the petition.
A competing candidate filed a lawsuit in connection with the petition—which led to Rivotti eventually getting out of the race.
