One person died and multiple people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Venango Township yesterday.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 3 p.m. for an accident involving two vehicles in the 300 block of Eau Claire Road.
Crews from Eau Claire were among those responding and found one woman unresponsive. There was also another woman with a leg injury, and a child who was injured as well.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Dispatchers say a child was flown to Children’s Hospital, and two others were taken to area hospitals by ambulance.
Police have not released any additional information on the crash, including the identity of the driver.
A portion of Eau Claire Road was shut down at the intersection with McJunkin Road.
