Will Zalatoris won his first PGA Tour event when he defeated Sepp Straka on the fourth playoff hole at the St. Jude Classic in Memphis last evening. The win moves Zalatoris to the number one spot in the FedEx Cup Playoff standings, and he also moves into the top 10 in the world for the first time in his career. He was a four-time runner-up in 56 starts on the PGA Tour. Zalatoris had also previously lost twice in playoffs. Scottie Scheffler falls to second in the playoff standings and remains #1 in the world, despite not making the cut.
