Amendments proposed by a local lawmaker to a recently approved bill would help local clubs and organizations with fundraising.
After passing the House, the state Senate concurred with amendments made by State Representative Marci Mustello to Senate Bill 398 that would allow club licensees to keep a higher percentage of proceeds from small games of chance.
These amendments also increase prize limits over any seven-day period from $35,000 to $60,000 for eligible licensed organizations.
This bill now advances to the desk of Governor Josh Shapiro.
